frequently asked questions

How Do I Sign Up to Visit Remedy Ranch?

It's easy!  Just click on the "Visit the Ranch" page and follow the menu until you find the right experience for you,  We require that you take the "Walking Tour" before coming out to spend time around the horses during a "Session". We will give a safety talk on the "Walking Tour" that is crucial for future visits at the Ranch that involve more advanced participation.

Can I Request a "Session" with a Specific Horse?

Sure!  Just send us your request when you set up your "Session" visit to Remedy Ranch and we will try to arrange availability for that horse, providing that they match your experience level.

What Should I wear to the Ranch?

Please wear comfortable clothing with sturdy shoes. No flip flops or open toe shoes due to safety concerns.  This will help to protect your toes if a horse inadvertently steps on you.  Layers are also a good idea, as it can be cool during the morning and late afternoon Session times.  Today, it's 104 degrees outside!  Thankfully, we don't have many really hot days like today.  We will reschedule any Sessions when the temperature is over 90 degrees.

How Do I Make a Donation to the Ranch?
Please click on the "Donate" button for PayPal to make a monetary donation or the "Donate" button at the top of the page to place your order for specific items that we need at the Ranch.  You can always send us a "Contact" form with questions regarding other items that you would like to donate.
Donations can also be made by check made out to "Remedy Ranch Inc" and mailed to the Remedy Ranch mail box: Remedy Ranch, Inc. P.O. Box 6532, Ventura, CA. 93006.  The Remedy Ranch, Inc. EIN Number is: 83-0977553

All donations will be used at the Ranch and are for the benefit of our ministry, Guests, Staff, Salary, or Horses.  It takes a lot of hay to keep our Equine Buddies happy and healthy and the Leaders and Staff receive compensation for the time that they spend in Training, and with our Guests during Session time.  A donation can be made for a specific campaign such as for the Conditional Use Permit if the donor so desires.  If this is the case, please notate it on the bottom of the check. Thank You!
